Stephen M. Cash, CFP ®
Steve Cash is a Wealth Advisor with ACM Wealth, where he helps clients manage, grow, and protect their wealth through proactive financial planning. As a Certified Financial Planner™, he specializes in matters related to taxation. In this role, he skillfully guides his clients through the intricacies of their annual tax returns, offering tax projections throughout the year to prevent any last-minute surprises during tax season, and encouraging them to understand and think through the taxable implications of an event before it happens.
Steve is known for translating complex concepts and ideas into real-people language that resonates with clients, empowering them to make more informed decisions. With a pragmatic approach grounded in active listening and proactive planning, Steve helps clients avoid costly tax mistakes and emotional investing for a more secure financial future while ensuring their hard-earned nest egg is passed on to the right individuals or entities. His clients’ goals become his goals, as he works tirelessly to help them achieve their financial objectives with integrity and transparency.
Prior to joining ACM Wealth in 2020, Steve was a Private Client Associate with Bleakley Financial Group, and before that, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., based out of New York City. With a BA as a double major in Economics and Political Science from St. Lawrence University, he has accumulated over a decade of experience in the industry. When Steve is not speaking with or servicing his clients, he is learning about the latest technologies, the most recent legislation passed by Congress, and the newest updates to the IRS tax code—all of which allow him to deliver more profound value to clients.
Steve was born and raised in the small city of Saratoga Springs, NY, and today lives in Montclair, NJ. He is actively involved in the NJ Golf Foundation, which supports local youth, military, and special needs, and is also on the planning committee for a local hospital foundation. As an avid traveler, Steve loves experiencing new cultures, spending time outdoors, and venturing back up north to catch the famous Saratoga Race Course while connecting with friends and family.
