Amit lives and works in Bergen County, NJ. He and his wife Christina have two children and two dogs. An avid powerlifter, Amit works each day toward his next personal best lift. On the weekends you can find Amit loudly cheering on the sidelines for his children’s various sporting events, or in the stands with them at a Yankee game. If not spending time with family, he is spending time in the gym, curled up with a good book, or training the dogs for obedience competitions.
About the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) credential: The CFP® designation is a professional certification mark for financial planners conferred by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) in the United States. To receive authorization to use the designation, the candidate must meet education, examination, experience and ethics requirements, and pay an ongoing certification fee. To fulfill the education requirement, students are required to complete course training in various topic areas and sit for the ten hours CFP Board Certification Examination.
