Advisors Capital Management (ACM), an investment advisor located in Ridgewood New Jersey, has been listed in Financial Advisor magazine’s top 50 fastest growing RIA firms for a third year.
After several years of double-digit returns, the S&P 500 was up 1.4% in 2015, including dividends. Since mid-2014, domestic equities have essentially gone nowhere. Among the 612 RIA firms surveyed by Financial Advisor, more than one-third, 219, said they saw assets under management shrink last year.
The only New Jersey investment advisory firm making the top 50, ranked 30th this year, ACM bucked the trend and experienced a 27.7% year over year growth rate of assets under management. ACM provides separately managed accounts using individual securities to direct clients and financial advisors across the country.
“We have always been focused on creating steady cash flow and transparency while minimizing costs for our clients” said Kevin Kern, one of ACM’s co-founders. “I believe our continued growth comes from our value approach in providing tax efficient portfolios that ETFs and mutual funds fail to achieve.” Kern added.
Established in 1998, ACM’s investment committee is headed by co-founder Dr. Charles Lieberman, noted economist and money manager. Dr. Lieberman’s multi asset income solutions have been featured in Barron’s and seen on Bloomberg and CNBC.
