This office will help to better service the firm’s direct wealth clients on Florida’s east coast. With this latest location announcement we are very also please to also welcome Mark Kordes, CFP to help service this important region.
Mark has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry in both client-facing roles and corporate management roles. He has worked for HSBC in Hong Kong and UBS and Merrill Lynch in the USA. Mark has also co-owned and operated an independent Investment Advisory firm. He is a published author in both the USA and China and has taught as an adjunct professor at the Graduate Finance Programs at NJ City University.
Mark has earned a Masters in Financial Services, his Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) certification as well the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designations. In addition, Mark is a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO®).
He currently serves on the Professional Standards Committee of the Financial Planning Standards Board (CFP® outside the USA) and has served on the Education Committee of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (USA CFP®). Mark is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP), and the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
